This page explains what this website collects, why, and who can see it. It is written in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, call us at 830-837-2810.
Who we are
Goody Family Company LLC, doing business as Goody’s Plumbing, a Texas limited liability company. Texas Master Plumber, RMP #43467. Mailing address: 30131 Bulverde Lane, Bulverde, TX 78163.
What we collect, and only when you give it to us
We do not require you to identify yourself to read this site. The only information we collect is what you type into the bid request form and send us:
- What you need (bid, new construction, gas, service, and so on)
- Your name, and your company if you give one
- Your phone number and email address
- The project location, if you give one
- The bid due date, if there is one
- A link to plans, if you provide one
- Whatever you write in the notes field
- The IP address the form was submitted from, which we record to help identify automated spam
What happens to it
Two things, both of them so a genuine inquiry does not get lost:
- It is saved on this website, where only our own administrators can read it.
- It is emailed to our estimating address, bids@itsallgoody.com, which both owners receive.
We use it to answer you, prepare a bid or schedule work. That is all. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone for marketing. We do not add you to a mailing list, because we do not run one.
Companies that handle it on our behalf
- Pressable hosts this website and therefore stores the form submissions and ordinary server logs, which include visitor IP addresses. Pressable also places a small script from Gauges (a service of Fathom Analytics) on every page it hosts, which sets a cookie to count page views and unique visitors so Pressable can size our hosting plan. That is Pressable’s cookie, not ours: we do not see individual visitors from it and we do not use it for anything. Pressable describes it in its own cookie policy.
- Google Workspace carries our email, so anything you send us arrives in a Google-hosted mailbox.
The typefaces on these pages are served from this website, not from a font service, so loading a page does not send your address to a third party for that.
Cookies and tracking
We set no advertising or analytics cookies of our own. There is no Google Analytics and no advertising pixel on these pages. The one third-party cookie is the Gauges visit counter our host places, described above. WordPress sets a cookie only when one of our own administrators signs in to manage the site, which is not something a visitor does.
If we add analytics later, this page will be updated to say so before it goes live.
How long we keep it
We keep bid requests as long as they are useful for the work: a live bid, a job in progress, and the warranty period afterward. Beyond that we have no reason to hold them. If you want yours removed sooner, ask and we will delete it.
Your choices
Email bids@itsallgoody.com or call 830-837-2810 and you can ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it
We will not charge you for that and we will not ask why.
Children
This is a plumbing contractor’s website. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
