Can you help us choose the fixtures?
Yes. Katie Dalrymple runs design in house. She is formally trained in design and works selections through with you: fixtures, finishes, metals, and how they sit against the tile, the cabinetry and the light in the actual room, not how they look on a product page. She also sources the pieces that are hard to find.
Do you do new construction, or only repairs?
Both, and new construction is the larger half. We do under-slab rough-in and sleeving before the pour, top-out and water distribution, gas rough and pressure test, then trim-out and final inspection. We build custom homes and ground-up work on the builder’s schedule.
Who actually shows up?
A licensed Master Plumber supervises the job. Harley Hart holds RMP #43467 and does the estimating himself, so the person who priced your work is the person who understands it.
Can you work around expensive finishes?
Yes, and it’s most of what high-end remodel work is. That means exterior-mount and wall-mount shower systems, unlacquered brass, fiberglass and tiled pans, and trim that costs more than the rough-in behind it. The projects page has photographs of the finished work, not the pipe.
What about water quality?
Whole-house treatment: softener, carbon, sediment and UV, plumbed and valved so it can be serviced later. San Antonio and Hill Country water is hard enough that this is a maintenance decision, not a luxury.
Do you handle gas?
Yes. House lines, appliance runs, range and outdoor kitchen drops, all permitted and pressure-tested. When a meter gets locked out, we resolve it. We don’t hand you a phone number. There’s a gas page with the detail.
The City’s Strike Team flagged my house. What now?
Call us. The Strike Team is the City of San Antonio’s Development Services enforcement group. They look for work done without a permit, work that went past what the permit covered, and work by somebody unlicensed. Plumbing is one of the four trades they check, and gas falls under it. When they find it, the homeowner is the one holding the violation: fines that start at $300 and climb with each citation, and an order to open up walls, floors or slab until the work can be seen and inspected. Nothing gets closed back up until a licensed contractor pulls the permit and passes the inspection.
That is the work we take on. We come out, figure out exactly what was done, pull the completion permit under our license, correct what has to be corrected, pressure-test the gas and the water, and call the inspections until the violation is cleared.
